Update on recent login problems & server outages
Dear Settlers.
In the last weeks, there have been increasing reports of login problems and server failures on some game worlds.
In order to be prepared for the future, we are currently moving the technical backend of "The Settlers Online" to a new data center where both the hardware and software are also being updated.
Unfortunately, in recent weeks, this has repeatedly led to disruptions and other technical problems.
This optimization and maintenance work is expected to last until mid-December. Under certain circumstances, further failures may occur. The team tries to minimize disruptions to the gaming experience, but due to the technical complexity of The Settlers Online, these cannot always be avoided.
We therefore ask for your understanding in advance and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
